Vegan, healthy chocolate “milkshakes” made with just 5 ingredients!
I love a healthy smoothie that actually tastes like dessert, but I don’t feel bad about having it midday even when I am being healthy.
These smoothies that really taste like milkshakes are just made with frozen banana, almond milk, almond butter, and cocoa powder, and honey. They are so easy to make and taste oh so delicious, without the guilt!
I am making these decadent drinks on repeat all summer.
Vegan Chocolate Shakes (Smoothies!)
A vegan smoothie that tastes like a milkshake but is healthy enough to have for breakfast!
- 3 bananas frozen and sliced*
- 3/4 cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
Add the bananas, almond milk, almond butter, cocoa powder and honey to blender. Blend until smooth.
I like to peel my bananas, wrap them in plastic wrap, and freeze them overnight.
